Berry Oakley,(of the Allman Brother's Band), Richard's friend and bass brother, playing Richard 's bass because Berry's own Guild wasn't working. This was during one of the 1969 Sunday afternoon jams for the hippies at the Forest Inn in Jacksonville, FL. These jams often included Duane Allman. One of these jams was where Richard introduced Red Dog to Duane Allman. Ask Red Dog.

Duane Allman in 1969 at the Forest Inn in Jacksonville, Florida. He was jamming with The Load and The Second Coming. This is the way Duane was when Richard, who was on stage, first met him and was jamming with him.

THE 2ND COMING-(the second version after Dickey Betts and Berry Oakley left to form the Allman Brothers band. This version did an unreleased album in 1969.

Lucinda Williams, Eric Von Schmidt & Richard Price backstage at a Connecticut show. Richard introduced Lucinda and Eric. Eric was a 60s folk blues hero for Lucinda. Richard used to jam with Eric in the 60's at his home on Siesta Beach in Sarasota, Florida learning folk & blues finger picking styles. Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Maria Muldar and other greats used to visit and jam there.
